On the open boats (sloepen), playing amplified music is not allowed due to Amsterdam municipality regulations. Acoustic music is permitted.
The saloon boats are fully heated. The open boats have a heater and are equipped with a full cover during the winter months and in bad weather. Please keep in mind that an open boat will feel colder in winter than a saloon boat.

Route & Cruising Area
No, there is no fixed route. Based on the duration of the cruise, the captain will determine the most beautiful and authentic route on the day itself. The captain takes into account factors such as water traffic, restrictions, weather conditions, and the chosen catering.
If you have specific route preferences, discuss them with the captain on the day. If possible, they will gladly accommodate your wishes.
There is no guide on board by default. Many of our captains and hosts can occasionally share information about key highlights during the cruise, but this is not a standard part of the experience. If you want extensive or in-depth information, we can arrange a professional guide upon request. Additional costs apply.
Our standard cruising area is Amsterdam. Occasionally, it is possible to sail just outside the city, for example toward Zaandam or Ouderkerk aan de Amstel, depending on planning and availability.
